Shout of Triumph
John Hagee
There is a supernatural power in the shout of triumph. When you lift your voice in joy, you are not just making noise—you are declaring victory, releasing God’s power to work on your behalf. Just as Balaam could not curse Israel because “the shout of a King is among them” (Numbers 23:21), your shout of praise becomes a shield that frustrates the plans of the enemy. Heaven responds to the believer who chooses to shout for joy in the face of adversity.
King David reminds us in Psalm 149 that praise in the mouths of God’s people is like a two-edged sword, executing judgment against spiritual enemies. The next time you face a battle, lift your hands and declare, “Lord, I’m giving You a shout of praise!” That proclamation unleashes the power of God to defeat your adversaries. If it worked for David, it will work for you. Use the shout of triumph—it is your weapon of spiritual warfare.
